EOC Week 3: tobacco advertisement

“Blow it into her face, she’ll follow you” Yeah follow him into cancer, people say second hand smoke can be as deadly as any other smokers. Once in a while my fiancée would smoke, I don’t follow, This add tells me if your man smoke follow him because that’s what good girlfriend/wife would do. If not you’re not a good girlfriend/wife. Why would I follow him if he’s smoking, I know the risk of smoking, if I were to choose smoking, and it’ll be on my own free well. Not because my man is smoking and I should do the same, it’s like saying a woman who isn’t into football then suddenly when she with her man she loves football and his team. Really? I’m not a sports person, my man likes to watch sports time to time. I’m not going to instantly liking some sports because he likes them. I have my own mind, I don’t need to copy my man. He has he’s own thing and I have mine, although for a smoker girlfriend yeah she might be into what her man is smoking and want to bound with her man with smoking. If you like kissing an ash tray, some people are different. Some guy would think it’s hot for a lady to smoke, it’s not hot when you get cancer. Maybe this add lies and say to doesn’t caused second hand smoke and it’s ok to blow at someone’s face, and maybe they’re going to follow you. However Tabaco always say this and say that, now they put on a label on the pocket on the risk of smoking, even pregnant woman SHOULD NEVER smoke. People see the adds and thought “I should start smoking because the add looks cool!” Is it worth of getting cancer? 

EOC Week 2:Questionable Ethics

“I lost 25 ibs in 1 month!” That’s easier said then done, most people would like to lose weight and never want to think of that awful number again. I am guilty of putting the weight back on however I didn’t use any diet pills. I down size my eating portions, juicing fruits, vegetable, and excuses. Yes it may seem hard to lose the weight however, losing weight slowly well make you gain the weight slowly! It took me almost 3 years to gain t back and it only took me 2 years to lose the weight I was in. It takes motivation to lose the weight.

Buying a new/used car can be stressful, I’ve been there like other average Americans have to have a car to get around. It’s not like back in the day where the streets are meant for everyone, since the first cars were invented the streets are no longer for people to walk on. Most car dealers want you to think you’re getting a good deal, however they just want the money. We have no choice but to go a car dealer to get a car, sometimes they even pass their business to their kids. Sometimes most car dealers would cut you some slacks, maybe too much slack, example my sister in law didn’t have a licenses. She went to the car dealer and gave her a sucker deal, I went to a car dealer where I never thought it was one and they gave me a good deal on my car. Some dealerships are a pain some of them aren’t so bad.

McDonald very popular burger joint worldwide! People first time may think they going to get what’s on the picture, unfortunately that’s not what they get, the burger does not look nothing like the pictures, tv, nor the menu. The burger is smaller then what it appears, it doesn’t look very appetizing, some of the came close to the adds. One guy did ask if they can make it as on the adds, with time and effort it looks like the adds! I guess the reason why it looks like crap is because of timing. I whether wait then look at me food then the add and wonder why it’s not like the adds? Is it because they don’t care? Time? Or they just want to drag you in and buy their burgers and it’s not what we all hoped? All of them, they don’t care how it looks, they rush it and don’t even think about how it looks like, they just want your money. I work at pizza hut yes we rush on how to make the pizza however, if it looks like crap we remake it. I don’t think they remake it when it comes out sloppy. The picture they have people fooled is simple Photoshop and food dressing for the adds to make people think “I’m getting a great burger!” Understandable the box makes it smaller due to the steam, most people sue due to not looking like what they’ve seen on the picture. But that doesn’t stop people from enjoying burgers, yes I wish it looks like from the picture. People whether eat then trying to comprehend the adds burger than in real life burgers, the taste maybe good and put a smile to anyone’s face McDonalds or any burger joint. I guess baggers can’t be choosers.

EOC Week 1: My voice

Hello my name is Kristina Beckman, I'm into Fashion Design Because when I was younger I always draw clothing designs. It lay dormant for the long time, but I bring that back. I have repair clothing and dolls for family and friends, all of them said I've done a good job. They complemented how great I did, even my grandmother wear the cloths I repaired for her. My goals is to own a business, the ideal of becoming my own boss sounds awesome! I also wanted to make a clothing line for plus size people, I know when I wanted to coolest cloth but there are not in my size, so I wanted to make cloths for all sizes. Also I want make it affordable, and have cosplay costumes in the store so no one had to wait for it to come in the mail. I want make people happy and have the best experience they have in my store. I want them to feel like their welcome to my store, with all shapes and sizes. I want them to feel good once they try on the cloths I have design for them. For a while I've been in Little black dress event won thrid place for my first black dress, I've helped out my sister for her school and we won three weeks in a row becasue of fashion design! I've made from screatch the mermaid skrit. I was surpiesed on how great it turned out!
