EOC Week 7: Finals

Camaro

The Camaro is a sport car by Chevy, the body, headlights, taillights, and the sound all sporty makes the guy want to race it makes the woman feel sexy. The Camaro is now out selling their compotators The Mustang; the Camaro is one of my dream cars once I lays eyes on one. You see them everywhere, there is no relay see them on the streets like Porsche’s. I have seen it on YouTube and they reviewed it and it sounds really nice. It looks really mean.

Even the inside is really nice. I’m not a big Chevy person however the Camaro makes me want to get one and ride it for hours, I even want to take it to the freeway. For my understanding they are two versions of the car one just the Camaro and the other one a ss model. The ss model is powered by a V8 engine compare their other versions the V6 model, the Camaro comes with multiple colors to choice from and a convertible option. The Camaro doses come with just the push start ignitions or the traditional key insert, The Camaro has 4 spoilers more so than the Mustang, makes it more sporty and make the sound rumble! Now day’s cars come with a touch screen No cd players or cassette players, all cars now have the aux to plug in your music and/or Bluetooth options, or in the ss model both. The ss model has a lot of stuff in the car more so than the other Camaro versions that just the basic model.  Both Camaro versions also come with automatic or manual. Most guys would go for manual and the ladies or people who don’t know how to or don’t want to drive a stick they have auto. The Camaro is like an old Mustang they want to make their consumers to feel they have a personal car for them.

Watch as Goodyear puts its tires (featuring Tufsyn Rubber) to the test on the streets of San Fransisco in this vintage commercial. As a pizza delivery I go on none road surface at times and I seem to have countless of flat tires in my mother’s van, and now onto my little Pontiac. Although both wheels are different I have 18 inch wheels onto my car, my mother’s old car I don’t remember however it’s a lot more thicker than my tires. When I have a flat I always go to this tire place that’s open 24 hours, I can’t afford Goodyear tires and I can’t anyways. If I get a flat form none road surface I’m wasting money. It’ll be nice to have those brand tires. I heard their good at any whether, it stops on time, and it looks cool. It’s like Firestone, they are trying to say their better then Goodyear. I’m not the one to pick sides I’m just one of those who try both and see which one is better. Good year is a long time brand than Firestone.

it goes two miles more: I can agree with the gas mileage, when I had my mother’s van during work and school I have to put in gas like every other day… In my car I can get away with 300 miles each full up, that’s like every week for me. Much better than every other day, my husband and I are saving money. He did count we save 100$  week! My car gets 25 or 30 dollars each fell up, as for the van its 35 to 40$, a little different however we can save a bit of money. My late grandfather as this 1967 Grand Traino, back in the days those cars suck much gas as a hummer today or even less than a hummer! I couldn’t imagine driving that everyday to work and school. It’ll feels a if I never got ride of the van.

·       > Who? Kevin Hart, in this video he plays as a father protecting his daughter making sure her boyfriend won’t do anything fishy.

·       > What? A father protecting his daughter by lending her boyfriend hi car and keep on track where they go.

·       > Where? At his house, keeping up the daughter. At the movies, going to place his arms around the daughter until he saw her father. At the top of the mountain to see the city, was about to kiss her until he saw her father in a chopper. At the carnival, about to hug her until he saw her father hiding and decided not to hug her. And back in the house where she was disappointed that her date was a bust, all thanks to her father.

·       > When? At night, in the city, maybe by the ocean because most places near the ocean have carnivals. In a city, in a fancy rich neighborhood.

·       > Why? It was the weekend where most teenagers who is with someone wanted to get out of the house and want to have fun and maybe get to know their boyfriend/girlfriends. Also to get out of the house if their parents give them a “hard time”.

·       

·       > How? Once the boyfriend arrived his date house on his own car, the father lend him his car in order to keep an eye on him on his watch app. The father know where they are, once the boyfriend fracked out and wanted to take the daughter home and she was disappointed on how shot the night went. The father acted as if he was never there. I think it’s funny because the new technology can keep an eye on your teen making sure they are driving safe. 

EOC Week 4: Role of Women in Contemporary Advertisements

 

Ever since in the 60’s woman have been capable to do anything, they took over the job ever since the man went to war. Then when the men came back the bosses told the woman they don’t need them. Some woman wanted to stay and help their husband to pay the bills and help to pay what is needed. Also woman can buy their own things without asking their husband, back then people say women are only good for giving birth, make food and taking care of the child while the men go to work and/or war. Once the woman have their taste of working some of them like the idea of working some of them not so much. So the women are becoming independent on their own, they don’t need their husband to support their family. Now the woman’s are working they can pick up the slack while their husband are at work or war. Now there was a time when men thought it was sexy to have a housewife waiting for him to come home from work in her slippers, but in modern society, I think an independent woman is even sexier.  An independent woman doesn’t need a man, but still prefers a gentleman who could take care of her and her needs at times. I am glad the rules have changes. If not I won’t be in school nor working I’ll be at home, being bored try to find something to do. I might not be with the man I love. It is undeniable that through the centuries, the role of women in the home, family and society in general has evolved tremendously. Women have moved on from their traditional roles as wives, mothers and homemakers. Having taken on more active participation in a variety of significant functions, the present modern women’s contribution to humanity and her encompassing influence have reached numerous milestones. Today, the modern woman is a working mom, a corporate head, business tycoon, social issues advocate, politician and leader; hers is a strong and empowering voice, a presence that cannot be ignored.

EOC Week 3: tobacco advertisement

“Blow it into her face, she’ll follow you” Yeah follow him into cancer, people say second hand smoke can be as deadly as any other smokers. Once in a while my fiancée would smoke, I don’t follow, This add tells me if your man smoke follow him because that’s what good girlfriend/wife would do. If not you’re not a good girlfriend/wife. Why would I follow him if he’s smoking, I know the risk of smoking, if I were to choose smoking, and it’ll be on my own free well. Not because my man is smoking and I should do the same, it’s like saying a woman who isn’t into football then suddenly when she with her man she loves football and his team. Really? I’m not a sports person, my man likes to watch sports time to time. I’m not going to instantly liking some sports because he likes them. I have my own mind, I don’t need to copy my man. He has he’s own thing and I have mine, although for a smoker girlfriend yeah she might be into what her man is smoking and want to bound with her man with smoking. If you like kissing an ash tray, some people are different. Some guy would think it’s hot for a lady to smoke, it’s not hot when you get cancer. Maybe this add lies and say to doesn’t caused second hand smoke and it’s ok to blow at someone’s face, and maybe they’re going to follow you. However Tabaco always say this and say that, now they put on a label on the pocket on the risk of smoking, even pregnant woman SHOULD NEVER smoke. People see the adds and thought “I should start smoking because the add looks cool!” Is it worth of getting cancer? 

EOC Week 2:Questionable Ethics

“I lost 25 ibs in 1 month!” That’s easier said then done, most people would like to lose weight and never want to think of that awful number again. I am guilty of putting the weight back on however I didn’t use any diet pills. I down size my eating portions, juicing fruits, vegetable, and excuses. Yes it may seem hard to lose the weight however, losing weight slowly well make you gain the weight slowly! It took me almost 3 years to gain t back and it only took me 2 years to lose the weight I was in. It takes motivation to lose the weight.

Buying a new/used car can be stressful, I’ve been there like other average Americans have to have a car to get around. It’s not like back in the day where the streets are meant for everyone, since the first cars were invented the streets are no longer for people to walk on. Most car dealers want you to think you’re getting a good deal, however they just want the money. We have no choice but to go a car dealer to get a car, sometimes they even pass their business to their kids. Sometimes most car dealers would cut you some slacks, maybe too much slack, example my sister in law didn’t have a licenses. She went to the car dealer and gave her a sucker deal, I went to a car dealer where I never thought it was one and they gave me a good deal on my car. Some dealerships are a pain some of them aren’t so bad.

McDonald very popular burger joint worldwide! People first time may think they going to get what’s on the picture, unfortunately that’s not what they get, the burger does not look nothing like the pictures, tv, nor the menu. The burger is smaller then what it appears, it doesn’t look very appetizing, some of the came close to the adds. One guy did ask if they can make it as on the adds, with time and effort it looks like the adds! I guess the reason why it looks like crap is because of timing. I whether wait then look at me food then the add and wonder why it’s not like the adds? Is it because they don’t care? Time? Or they just want to drag you in and buy their burgers and it’s not what we all hoped? All of them, they don’t care how it looks, they rush it and don’t even think about how it looks like, they just want your money. I work at pizza hut yes we rush on how to make the pizza however, if it looks like crap we remake it. I don’t think they remake it when it comes out sloppy. The picture they have people fooled is simple Photoshop and food dressing for the adds to make people think “I’m getting a great burger!” Understandable the box makes it smaller due to the steam, most people sue due to not looking like what they’ve seen on the picture. But that doesn’t stop people from enjoying burgers, yes I wish it looks like from the picture. People whether eat then trying to comprehend the adds burger than in real life burgers, the taste maybe good and put a smile to anyone’s face McDonalds or any burger joint. I guess baggers can’t be choosers.
